Pusher's dead. That's a relief on Mulder's family. No more looking over their shoulders. No more fear.

Mulder's in the hospital with some unknown disease. He was put in the hospital last night.

Someone named Roger had been in touch with Mulder before he went to the hospital. Roger gave him chocolates for his birthday. Hm... I wonder if I can get Scully to run those through some tests. Might be something in those that made Mulder sick.

More later.....

Either you do or you don’t.
Those words echoed in the back of my mind.
You would think that with all of the problems in this world, there’ll be more answers.
I nodded slowly and cut a left around the corner.

I was out walking, trying not to worry so much about the Modell case. But it’s funny how a lone video game can make a mental slap in the face.
Those words came from none other Final Fantasy 9. The main character, Zidane, says that to Vivi late one night as they are both up and talking.
I sighed a little.

So, either we do find this Modell, or we don’t. The two simple choices and yet, either choice was so hard.
It was getting to be a pain to find this Modell, but we’re not giving up. Mulder’s family is in danger to this guy. We, Monica and I, have to protect them.

I crossed the street and made my way back to the apartment.
If only life was so easy…
